Taye's Attempt at Tummy Time

Help!... Taye hates tummy time. No matter what she crys. Someone told me to try laying her on the Boppy to prop her up a little and this is what I got :) Her neck is strong but she just hates being on her tummy. She is way too curious for her own good and being on her tummy she can't see everything she wants. She loves to look around and doesn't like the tummy time position. Sometimes it starts off okay but then she gets so cranky it isn't even worth the effort. I hate it too! Maybe I am stressing too much about it or not enough???

Hahaa, Mia hated tummy time too at first! I just did it for 5 minutes at a time a couple times a day. She'll like it better as she gets stronger. Thats so funny that she used to tummy time to rest on her boppy!

Hi this is Jason's wife Courtney. I saw your blog today and was excited to see your beautiful girl! Jason is going to be excited to see her too, I can't wait to show him! haha. Jaxon still hates tummy time, and it took him forever to learn to roll over. I would go through spurts and try really hard to make him lay on his stomach, but he hated it so bad that he would just scream and I would give in and get him. I hated making him cranky just because I stuck him on his tummy, but now he knows how to roll and is a lot happier. So hopefully she is the same way! So fun!

I LOVE that she just rests her head on the boppy:)

I wouldn't worry too much. Especially if she CAN hold her head up. That is a lot of what tummy time is for-to strengthen their neck. You could try laying her on top of a mirror(kiddie mirror with padding) & she might like to look at herself.

Oh, she is SO cute! I'm so excited to finally see her! I love all of her bows as well! I was worried that Olivia hated tummy time too, but it's good to know she's not alone!

In answer to your question, I do still work out. While the weather was nice I would just take Jaxon jogging with me in his jogging stroller and then come do aerobics at my house after, but now that it is a little chilly I am going to the gym in the mornings, usually like 7ish so I can be back in time for Jason to go to work. He doesn't like it though because he actually has to wake up to watch Jaxon. This is the only time I have figured out that works for me!

Yeah my little ones were NOT fans of tummy time either. Davin did ok if I laid down w/ him though. She is SO adorable, and I'm thinkin she looks a lot like you. Oh and "Yeah right!" on your baby weight comment. I saw you when you were supposed to be hugely prego, but you were itty bitty as always.
