Poor Little Taye-Taye

Our little Tay-Tay has been so sick. She has been sick for a couple weeks and just kept getting worse and worse. We took her to the doctor about a week and a half ago and found out she has RSV. It was pretty serious and the doctor wasn't sure if he was going to have to send her to the hospital. We did a couple breathing treatments in the office and then he sent us home with a breathing machine and steriod shots. We went back to next day and he thought the home treatments were helping and just had us closely monitor her and come back for follow-ups. So we have been doing breathing treatments for over a week every 4 hours around the clock. They are no fun, but if they keep her out of the hospital, then we will be faithful with them. We only have 2 weeks left of the treatments. We wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and fasting and know that Taye Lynn was blessed by all of you. The past couple days we have finally seen a few smiles out of her and it is so good see her little personality coming back. I will take my 100 mph insomniac baby anyday over sick Taye. We feel so blessed that she was able to get better and could not have got through the past couple weeks without our families. Hopefully it will just keep getting better from here on out. My heart goes out to those who have dealt with babies with medical conditions on a daily basis. I think the treatments every 4 hours are rough. I can't even imagine what you must go through. We also are grateful for Baby Einstein :) Seriously, that is the only way we can get through a treatment is to put on one of our videos and distract her. We are so lucky to have so much family close by and want to thank all of them for everything!
