TAGGED

I was tagged and so I just put Taye Lynn to bed and have time to actually sit down and answer these questions. (Sorry Tilleea, it has taken me so long. You knew of my computer problems :) ) I have been so busy with my house. We have been doing so much around here and instead of just doing one project at a time, I decided to work on every project that has been on my list over the past couple years all at the same time. So a million projects have been spread out over my whole house which equals complete chaos. Anyways, that will be another post, back to the tagging game...

So here are the rules of the game...
1. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
2. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let it begin...

How long have you and your husband been together?
Almost 5 and 1/2 years!
How long did you date?
Just about a year.
Who eats more?
Well, when we were dating... me. Yes, I would out-eat him on our dates. But that is why he fell in love with me. On our first date I ordered chicken strips, french fries and a Dr. Pepper and he was so impressed it was not the typical salad and water. Now... most of the time he eats more. He blames me for any after-marriage weight gain of his. He used to eat only when he was hungry and it was part of survival. I introduced him to the pleasures of eating yummy stuff. I get excited to eat. Why not enjoy life, right?
Who said I love you first?
It was Tyson. It took him a long time because I was the first one he had ever said it to. :) I was quick to say it back once he had finally said it.

Who pays the bills?
I totally do. He got a new business credit card in December and was going to be in charge of that one bill, so that he could review the charges. Now $120 in late charges later, I am officially in charge of ALL the bills :)
Who cooks dinner?
I do unless we are having cinnamon toast for dinner.
Who is more stubborn?
Anyone who knows me knows that I am not stubborn at all...
Who kissed who first?
That would be Tyson on date #2. He had a "three date rule". On the third date you either kiss them or don't bother taking them out again. We hung out for like an hour one night in between date #1 and #2, so I guess he counted that as the "third".
Who is more sensitive?
Yah, that would definitely be me. Not much gets to Tyson.
Who wears the pants?
Hmmm, I think that we each wear one leg. It just depends on the subject we are talking about.
What was I doing 10 years ago?
Wow, well, let's see. I was in nineth grade at Taylor Junior High. Me, Tiff, Melissa and Bettina were being the junior high girls and doing stupid things like dressing up eighties style and rollerblading through the neighborhood, talking in our secret code about all of our crushes, tanning the name of the boy i liked on my stomach (yes, billy was tanned on my stomach for a good 6 months, ha ha). that's enough of that...
What snacks do I enjoy?
Dr Pepper, Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper. I am being completely serious, because I would choose that over anything. (As long as it is from the fountain with LOTS of ice) I would much rather have Dr Pepper than any type of dessert or snack for that matter. But I guess there are other snacks that I do love... salt and vinegar chips, chips and salsa, frozen yogurt, raw almonds with plain m&m's and snap peas with homeade ranch dip.
What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?
This is a fun question. Well, first of all, we would do everything that everyone says (pay off all of our debt and our families debt and all of that, etc), but then I would buy a home in the historic district and buy homes on the same street for our parents and siblings to live in(and I would install a fountain machine and frozen yogurt machine in my house). Then I would buy a big beach house where we could spend all of our time when it is way too hot in arizona. I would love to open a shop of some sort downtown in a cute little building.  Then I would... I must be a dreamer because I could go on and on, but I won't bore you... (p.s. tyson would just buy a sports franchise and a nice house)
3 bad habits?
1. I have this really bad habit of "misplacing" my wedding ring. I never lose it, but I take it off to put on lotion or something and then I always set it down somewhere in the house. When I realize I don't know where it is I go into complete panic mode and tear the place up until I find it. I happens about once a week. oops.

2. I love to eaves drop and always catch myself doing it. (or Tyson catches me) I guess it goes along with my love to people watch. I love to sit in the huge jacuzzi when we go to California and just listen to everyone's conversations. It is a bad habit because sometimes I forget to not make it obvious.

3. Putting off mopping my floors. I HATE IT! I LOVE the look of wood floors and love that they can be so clean when they are done. That is what we have in our whole house except for our master bedroom, but I hate to sweep/mop them. I would much rather vacuum and so I always put it off until I can't stand it anymore. I will have to really think long and hard before we put them in our next house again.

5 things people don't know about me.
1. I have to have clean feet and teeth before I go to bed. I can't fall asleep without brushing my teeth and if I have had flip-flops on that day (which is almost every day), I have to wash my feet in the tub before I can go to bed.

2. No matter how bad a movie sucks or how tired I am, I have to stay up and watch a movie until the bitter end. If it sucks I still want to see how it ends. I can't start a movie with the hope that I will just fall asleep, because I know I won't.

3.I love to decorate/fix up furniture/do crafty projects. I love seeing the "before" and "afters" and looking for the potential in junk. I wish I had a mansion just for the sole reason of being able to keep decorating endlessly. I am done with my house basically and now I wish I had more rooms to decorate.

4. I love office/organizational supplies. I don't know why and I know it is wierd, but I could spend forever in Staples or Officemax or the Container Store. I wish I had the space to have a home office like those in the Pottery Barn magazines with a million organizational drawers and magnet boards and containers. I love to be organized and wish I was way more than I currently am.

5. I am a craver.  This is kind of hard to explain, but basically once I crave something I know I am going to eat it sooner or later, so it might as well just be now.  What I am trying to say is let's just say one night Pete's sounds good to me but for some reason I don't eat it,  then it goes on this mental list of cravings and it will stay there for weeks until I finally eat it.  I know I am wierd, but I have learned I might as well just eat something when I initially crave it.  At least it didn't get any worse when I was pregnant :)

And to wrap it all up...I now tag
Nat, Beth, Lori, Megan and Sydney.  Your turn!

Hey Alyse! Thanks for tagging me, but I already got tagged with this one, so it might be a little repetitive for my readers if I do it again, haha! Miss you!

There were a few things I read about your tag that were just like me! I always misplace my ring too and panic but never want to show that I am because I always think that Ryan hid it to teach me a lesson and I dont want him to know I am worried. NExt, I too crave things and it will haunt me until I eat them. I drives Ryan crazy sometimes because I cant let it drop until the mission is complete. Last, we have a lot of wood floors in our house and I too HATE to clean them. That is why you HAVE to get a Hoover Floor Mate. I love mine and it makes it so much easier. Look into it. YOu wont be dissapointed!

Alyse's bad habits = Melissa's bad habits. I am always misplacing my wedding ring! And if Rob sees me set it some where, he will hide it to watch me start to panic. Mean, I tell you! And growing up, my parents called me Big Ears. I am quite the eavesdropper even if I don't know the people! Hee, hee! ;)
