today we got a new one of these! after three months of living without, i appreciate my appliance a lot more and have a renewed excitement to do the dishes with this.
**disclaimer - our's is not as fancy-schmancy as this one pictured... we got the bottom of the line cheapo dishwasher, but i don't even care at all **

Yeah, our disposal is currently clogged and we can't use our dishwasher for the time being. But yay for you!
