Christmas in April

Okay, Okay, so yes I know that it is almost swim season. I am usually not one to try and go back and catch up with the things I missed. Trust me, I know I have a hard enough time just keeping up on the current blog posts, but December is my favorite month and it was so fun that I don't want to forget it. We did lots of holiday things and it was Taye Lynn's last month before her only child world got rocked! So here it is - photo recap style.

Her "berry own nativity". She loved to rock baby Jesus :)

Anxiously awaiting Granny to pick her up to go see the nutcracker. A fun tradition Tyson's grandma has with the little girls in the family.

The family nativity... she was trying to figure out what was going on

The singing and dancing Mrs. Clause

The morning after we made gingerbread houses, I walked out to find that Taye had eaten all the chocolate chips off of the roof. I got my camera just in time to take a picture of the last of the chip on the roof.

Taye Lynn and Harlee with their matching Christmas Eve shirts.

Our little family on Christmas Eve and my not so little belly!

The annual Christmas Eve PJS... ASU style. Yes my family bleeds maroon and gold, and we sleep in it too :)

Evidence that Santa came and was hungry.

Christmas Morning... isn't the kitchen adorable!

Running down the hallway to check on the cookie situation... isn't that face the best?!

So excited about the kitchen, and the whole Santa Clause thing despite a serious case of bedhead.
After all of the excitement at our house, Taye was ready to go check out all of her other presents at her grandparent's. She was so spoiled!

Our last photo as a family of three! It was the best Christmas. There is nothing better than the excitement of your kids and the magic of Christmas!

next post... swimming. just kidding
