AMAZING...that is what I thought of the storm last night. One of my most favorite things ever is rain, everything about it. The feel of it, the smell of it, the sight of it, the wind, lightning and thunder. Tyson always makes fun of me because he says I act like a little kid when it rains and I get way too excited. Monsoon season is my favorite thing about Arizona and I look forward to it every year. I have not been disappointed this year. I think last night was the craziest lightning I have ever seen. The sky was constantly lit up and there was no break. The thunder on Tuesday night was the loudest thing ever. I have never been up for hours because thunder was so loud. Last night we were on the back porch and I couldn't stop watching the sky. Tyson finally made me come inside because he was afraid I was going to get struck (whatever). So I piled a bunch of pillows on our bed and we pulled up the blinds and the curtains and all cozied up on the bed and watched the show for hours. Taye-taye wasn't scared a bit. It was the funnest night and I hope we have a few more storms to come. (but wait until next week) We are going camping this weekend and despite my love for rain, it might make it a little easier without it :) (Last time we went camping on Memorial Day weekend to our Larson Reunion we got rained out and were basically in a mud bath) We might have a repeat weekend. Well, I better get packing so we can be prepared for any weather :)

OK, that is the most adorable picture of Taye! I love the tutu and glittery shoes. What a little birthday princess! Wish we were in AZ during monsoon season!
