Easter Weekend Extravaganza

So yes, I know that Easter seems like forever ago, and EVERYONE has already posted about Easter and then some, but I am finally getting back to this blogging thing and Easter was a big deal around our house this year. Taye Lynn loved it and had so much fun on the egg hunts. She didn't even care about what was in the eggs, she just loved the thrill of the hunt. We got to celebrate with my Grandma Thomas on Saturday, then the Easter Bunny visited our house while we were at church, then we got to go visit my parents where Taye had a basket hidden there, then we went out to Granny and Papa Sugs for a hunt/dinner and finished off the night at Tyson's parents. Yes, it was a fun packed day. That's how holidays go around this house... CRAZY AND PACKED AND ABSOLUTELY SO FUN!! Here are just a few :) pics of the events...

her first hunt ever... she didn't even need us to help her

games with the cousins... yes, that is my dad in the background cleaning... he never stops! :)
taye lynn thought she stuck gold when she found a stash of unattended baskets filled with candy
next year we will have to tell the easter bunny to do a better job at hiding the basket ;)
trying to figure what she wanted to grab first
nothin better than spinning circles in a pretty dress with uncle jason
her new thing, since we took the meme away... putting her hand in her mouth.  it drives me crazy!
"there's an egg!"  granny gave taye lynn her very own hunt (since she is the only little one) so she didn't have to compete with the older kids and filled her basket with all of her favorite treats!!! thanks granny
this is the closest thing we got of a "family picture"... sad i know.  you can see who our focus is on :)
ending the night with frosting and easter sprinkles... perfection!

Love the dress by the way. SO you took the passy away huh? I dread the day Kassidy gets cut off. The addiction is BAD!

ALWAYS better late than never ;) Wish I could have been there!! Taye will have competition in the hunting soon enough! My kids will only be 6 months but I am sure they will manage :)
